FUNNY CAMP STORIES OF 2009:

Bakos Zsuzsanna (University of Miskolc) - Camp Chi, WI:

"I have a funny story from Camp Chi. I work in the kitchen. Sometimes until the work I wear my t-shirt with a no silicon lettering. When I go to dishwashing i wear garbage bag, because I won`t that my clothes will be dirty. When the people look at this they laugh so much. Some creative people from the kitchen put garbage bag and no silicon lettering on the mascot (kabala). You will look at it in the photo. The people put this mascot on the dinning hall`s wall. Every year the kitchen staff give name to the kitchen. Ten people want that the kitchen name be `Bagman No Silicon. The kitchen got another name, but more people want this name. When a put in my paggage this t-shirt i never think it will be `famous t-shirt`."

Pankucsi Beata (University of Miskolc) - Adirondack Woodcraft Camp, NY:

You wrote you like to read funny stories of the summer so here is mine:)
The begining of the story is thet there was about three days in a row that a bear was strolling at the camp at nights searching for some food in the garbage not so far from the cabin where I live. My cabin is separated from the others, and next to mine there is an other one but nobody lived there since I was here. One night I woke up in the middle of the night hearing some voices from the cabin next to mine. It was like an animal would stratching the floor and abusing things. I was so scared that there is a bear next to the cabin where I live so I started to kicking the wall, jumping and make noises to make the bear go away. After a while I heared that It leaved the cabin so I reliefed. 5 minutes later I noticed some people headed the bath next to my cabin so I asked them If they saw the bear. There was this new guy who used to be a counselor at the camp and visited this year for a week and it turned out he moved to the cabin next to mine but i didn`t know about that. Next day we were laughing a lot about it and I imagined what he was thinking when he heared that the girl next to his cabin started to kicking the wall and jumping in the middle of the night:D Maybe he thought these hungarians have some crazy traditions:D So that was my funniest and scariest night at the camp and by the way I got to know that there was really a bear in the main area that night again.
I hope you enjoyed my story and maybe made you smile. :)
