Placement Option

Are you too busy to search for a job? Not sure where to start? Want CCUSA to do all the work for you? Then the Placement Option is for you!

Relax because we're hooked up with hundreds of reputable U.S. employers and we'll find a job for you. Our Placement Option provides all the services of the Independent Option, plus we secure the job you are looking for and provide support throughout your work experience. For a little extra cost, CCUSA will save you time and money in the long run by doing all the work for you.

We provide 2 different options to applicants:
Preferred placement
Regular placement and

The preferred placement option   allows you to choose the employer and the job position. If you want to be placed with a friend then you should not choose this option.

Placement option - You can choose housing or work with a friend. If working with a friend and/or having housing is the ‘Number one' priority for you then this is the option you should choose.

Personal Interview

We interview you on behalf of the employers to ensure you get the job that suits you best. Our USA placement staff will get to know you through your application form and interview. After your interview, you will need to decide which of our placement options works best for you.

Preferred Job Placement

Our Preferred Placement option allows you to review and select specific employers and jobs from the current Job and Employer list, based on your skills and English level. This list will change often as U.S. employers update their job and employment needs with CCUSA.

You can preview this list by clicking on the following link - Placement Employer Preview

Once you sign up for the program, complete the application and interview, and pay your fees, you will choose a set number of employer/job position combinations. CCUSA will submit your application and employer/job requests to our head office to start the placement process. You will be competing against other students directly for these positions so you will need to apply early and have all your documentation ready to go at your interview. Each employer will review the applications submitted for a job position and based on your application they may offer you a job! CCUSA will continue down your list of preferences until we have secured a job offer for you.

Regular Job Placement

Through Footprints, our online support tool, you can access our Online Placement Employer Directory that contains information about the employers on our Regular Placement Program. Using the directory, you complete a Job Preference form and we will attempt to secure you a job meeting a combination of these preferences. This option does not allow you to select specific employers or job positions. Instead you indicate the importance of a number of factors you would like CCUSA to consider when matching you with employers. This option is ideal if you want to be placed with a friend traveling with you. Using the preferences you indicated on your Job Preference Form, we do our utmost to find you a job with your requested preferences.

Job Offer Form

Once we secure your job, we send you detailed information about the company, the job and the area where you will live.

Employer Contacts

Our Placement employers have chosen CCUSA because they prefer the personal attention and service we provide in finding them the appropriate person for each job. This personal contact enables us to find you a job suited to your qualifications.
