Money Issues

This section outlines the averages of how much you can earn and how much you will need for housing, food and transportation. Please remember that these are only averages. If you work longer or shorter hours, or if you choose to have a second job, your monthly income will increase or decrease proportionally. Hourly wages and housing costs will vary greatly depending on the employer and the location.

Before leaving home, you will need to pay all CCUSA Program Fees and insurance. To help you save money for your trip, fees are paid in increments throughout the year. Please refer to the Program Agreement for specific costs.

Supplemental Costs

  • Proof of funds $900 - $1500 USD

Budgeting In The USA

USA Income (US$ based on only 1 job)

  • Salary based on 40 hours/week $800–$1200/month (many jobs also provide bonuses and tips)
  • Many Amusement parks offer their staff free or discounted passes

Expenditures

  • Housing costs from $100–$500/month
  • Food costs from $150–$400/month
  • Transportation costs from $0–$100 /month
  • Housing Related deposits

Please note these are only average amounts. Your specific costs may vary. Depending upon your job offer, you should take the recommended Proof of Funds $900 - $1500USD to cover start up costs before you receive your first pay check.
