ADVANCED SAILING

Requirements:

  • Have a level 1 sail instructor certificate (or similar);
  • Knowledge of: how to rig a boat, sailing techniques, tacking, gybing, reading winds, tides and currents, knots/rope work, launch and recovery of a sailing boat;
  • A desire to teach children in a fun, encouraging and safe manner.

ELITE SAILING

Requirements:

  • All the above Advanced skills requirements plus two years of experience teaching or professional experience in sailing;
  • Provide footage of your skills on types of boats in your CCUSA application video;
  • A desire to teach children in a fun, encouraging and safe manner.
